Today was my first sick day of the Semester. I feel pretty rotten about it, especially with how bad the weather is turning out now and I'm not feeling any better. I also don't like missing school because I mentally tally up that each class hour is roughly $60, so missing three classes can add up.
Oh and Wedge the chinchilla had a baby...thing hah its wonderful actually
<lj-embed id="2" />FASINATING!
Anywho, in other news I've been spending alot of my spare time working on tutorials and getting use to flash which is definitely a struggle for me ha. Some interesting news that got my attention was that GAP has been found to use child labor in India for some of their children's clothing line, which is just sad. Naturally they are trying to change that now but seriously how can you not know that a whole sub line is not being made in sweatshop when all they do is advocate causes?
Not impressed.
I have been trying to keep an eye on the clothing products i buy, but considering my price range I might as well just be super conscientious and not buy things, I really don't need it.
Oh and I'm loving Antoney & the Johnsons, really I am, I couldn't stop listening to them if my life depended on it. Oh nother thing that has been stuck in my head has been Bird and the Bee's song Polite Dance Song, thanks Josh haha.
BUT the biggest winner of all time with music would be Yann Tiersen and various other artists with the cover of Life on Mars by David Bowie
hahaha WHAT?? BALLIN!!!
<lj-embed id="3" />
Oh I'm trying to integrate myself back into the local music scene, Comlag is worth checking out for sure.
well that's it for now.
Peace

Even though I am very bored back in Frankenmuth, it's nice to have some quite time. True I'm working and battling the unholy elements that Michigan winters have to offer, but seriously what is there to do? Oh that's right, shop for presents with the money I don't have.
So far I have dappled with some cooking and I am pleased with the banana french toast and different variations of hot chocolate but not so pleased with the veggie stew and cheese dumplings. Anyways here are some things I really dig right now.

done by illustrator Aleks Sennwald, she's sweet and has a pretty interesting blog too.

http://bedtimetunes.trash-can.net/
this site is awesome, you can download some really great sleepy time music, although I haven't figured out how to upload anything yet :(

Oh and thanks to David and his wonderful taste in music and big external hard drive (wink wink) i am now listening to blonde redhead, which is wonderful, they are my new musical must.
<lj-embed id="1" />

I think I'm going to cook some spaghetti, yeah that sounds wonderful.
Dave is a kindof a big deal.
